Welcome to my KEA Weapons Systems website and thank you for taking a look at what we have to offer.  My name is Curt Prejean.  I was born and raised in Louisiana and have been obsessed with firearms for as long as I can remember.  I grew up in the country around Lafayette, LA and had the freedom to go shooting and hunting all my life as a teenager and young man.  I was able to purchase my first AR-15 rifle when I was about 16.  My love of the AR platform has been a life-long love affair.  

As I grew older and had a little more money, I became determined to learn how to build and maintain my growing AR arsenal and began searching for armor courses.  I have attended numerous courses and have a very good knowledge base of the function and building of AR-15 rifles and have successfully earned certificates from a variety of AR manufacturers around the country.  

I decided to open a small custom built AR business in 2009, to offer customers a “better AR” than what was available at the “big box” gun stores.  I have searched and found the best components available and built each AR as if it were going to be my personal weapon.  All too often, a great build has become “too good” to sell and have found a path into my gun safe.  Each rifle is test fired to ensure that it functions correctly and then cleaned before any sale to you.

I also offer AR upgrades and repairs.  

I have built AR rifles for several local SWAT teams and a number of former special operation warriors and shooting trainers.  My rifles have been highlighted in the rifle magazine ( will get the name for you) 

I am also the only dealer for CADEX DEFENSE rifles in the region.  I am a big fan of precision rifles and long distance shooting.  Through years and a lot of money I have found CADEX rifles to be essentially  a custom precision rifle that is extremely accurate and precise.  All of my personal CADEX rifles shoot sub 0.25 MOA, most of the time with good quality factory ammunition and better than 0.25 MOA with hand loading.  CADEX offers rifles in every category you can imagine, from hunting to extreme long range competition, as well as rifles made for police SWAT sniper teams and any rifle competition you can imagine.
